Relationship/Marriage Advice

I have been dating my fiancé for about 5 1/2 years. We have been living together for over 5 years. Over time I have learned his likes, hobbies, and flaws, so I knew what I committed to when I said yes to his marriage proposal.

I highly recommend that you live with someone for at least 6 months before you commit to marriage. People say that they have to be married before living together due to religion. If you are very religious and you get married, you are supposed to be married for life, right? If you marry someone before you have learned their flaws and things they do that get on your nerves, What is worse? To get a divorce, being stuck in a miserable marriage, or to live with someone before you decide to commit to living with them for the rest of your life?

The Bride World Expo

I received a flyer in the mail that included admission for 5 people to attend the Bride World Expo. I went to the one in Los Angeles this August. I received many business cards, free wedding magazines, and sampled several photo booths. I went with my mom and one of my bridesmaids. We had so much fun! The Fashion show was the best part. We got to see samples of Davids Bridal and Mens Wear house clothing. The only complaints I have are it was really small and there were no Cake vendors. I also signed up for many of the vendors to send me info which was a Big Mistake! I received too many calls and emails from the vendors, I recommend you just take business cards and tell them you don't have a personal phone or email because they will bombard you!

If you know you want to have a big wedding someday, I highly recommend attending bridal expos, especially if they are free. Meet as many vendors as you can and attend all the classes and fashion shows to learn as much as you can before your big day!

Wedding Ideas

I didn't have enough money for a wedding planner, so I have been planning my whole wedding alone. If it wasn't for the internet and these 3 websites I don't know what I would do.
